Doctors Mary and John Ahearne qualified with degrees in Dental Surgery in 1983 from The London Hospital Dental School. They came to Moonfleet in 1989 taking over the practice from a retiring colleague.

John gained his Masters degree in Periodontology from Guy’s Hospital in 1991 and subsequently was awarded Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 1993.

John has the LFHom homoeopathic qualification and is currently studying for a higher homoeopathic qualification.

John is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.

Lisa Colquhoun EDH our hygienist and currently on maternity leave, qualified from Kings College in 1992 and has been working working with us for almost ten years.

Joanne Bentley-Walls EDH qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1987. She has recently moved to the area from Birmingham. Jo has a wealth of experience in dental hygiene and we are privileged to have her join our team.

Sheila Shergold is a qualified dental nurse who runs our reception.

Carrie Lennox RDN is a qualified dental nurse who has a further qualification as a dental health educator. She is currently studying part-time for a degree in acupuncture.

Donna Mayo RDN is a trained dental nurse who works primarily with John and Jo.
